The University of Edinburgh and CAFOR explore transformative collaboration

The conference, attended by key representatives from both institutions, heralded the beginning of a promising partnership to advance education, research, and societal impact.

Dr. Deborah Kayembe, the first African female Rector of this University, orchestrated the meeting. The attendees included Prof. Sir Peter Mathieson, the Principal of the University of Edinburgh, Prof. James Smith, the Vice-Chancellor in charge of International Affairs, and Dr. Lawalley Cole, the Executive Director of CAFOR, along with various other officials from CAFOR.
