https://domainebregeon.com/1vonterxa Edinburgh, Scotland, August 28, 2023 – The University of Edinburgh and the Coalition on Media and Education for Development Africa Forum (CAFOR) convened a landmark consultative meeting on August 28, 2023, at the University of Edinburgh’s esteemed campus. The conference, attended by key representatives from both institutions, heralded the beginning of a promising partnership to advance education, research, and societal impact.
Dr. Deborah Kayembe, the first African female Rector of this University, orchestrated the meeting. The attendees included Prof. Sir Peter Mathieson, the Principal of the University of Edinburgh, Prof. James Smith, the Vice-Chancellor in charge of International Affairs, and Dr. Lawalley Cole, the Executive Director of CAFOR, along with various other officials from CAFOR.
