Michael Awonon is a seasoned IT expert and development strategist with over two decades of experience in complex system design, digitalisation, and project management across Africa.
Holding a degree in Computer Engineering from SUPELEC Gasa Formation, he has led large scale digital projects including national registration and vehicle identification systems for governments and regional bodies.
As IT Manager for CAFOR, he ensures the technological backbone for the coalition's continental mission — hosting, security, the African Learning Planet platform, and digital infrastructure for partners and learners.
