It was with great pleasure that we received in our office at AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa this morning Professor Laila Abubakarr, Chairman of the Association of Technical Universities and Polytechnics in Africa (ATUPA) and Vice—Chancellor of the Technical University of Mombasa in Kenya. She was accompanied by Professor Ben Q.Honyenuga, Vice-Chancellor of the Ho Technical University in the Volta Region of Ghana. We discussed among other issues, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Africa and how CAFOR’s digital TVET initiative can support the continental TVET strategy and programme for Africa. We agreed to collaborate more in this area, and in particular with their respective institutions.
