Join us

CAFOR draws its members from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) working at National level and also Internationally, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) working at National level and even Internationally, Donor organizations, Community Based Organizations and Networks and Coalitions of such organizations within the entire African continent and rest of the world. CAFOR will accept individuals and organizations to join as an Ordinary Member or Executive Board Member or a Membership Organisation.

For one to become a member, a membership application form must be completed and, where applicable, must also be accompanied by scanned copies of:
(a) A Constitution or Articles and Memorandum of Association.
(b) List of current Council/board members including their contact address.

To become a member, admission fee will be paid.Contact the Secretariat for more details.

The benefits to avail by becoming a CAFOR member are as follows:
CAFOR will list you as a CAFOR Member / CAFOR Executive Board Member/ CAFOR
membership organization to benefit from invitations to participate in all CAFOR events.
Members will also receive CAFOR news updates and will gain from networking with other prominent CSOs, NGOs and organizations in Africa and other regions. In the case of member organizations, networking would be great for sharing ideas and knowledge, gaining connections and new opportunities through building relationships and taking action with other networks that can result in increased confidence and profile-raising. When we surround ourselves with people who share a similar drive and ambition, we are more likely to move forward as a group. That is the spirit of CAFOR as a Coalition.
