Dr Khaled Gulam

Dr Khaled Gulam is currently the Director-General of Radio and Television Services in Libya. Before this position, he was the head of the media department at the Open University. He was also a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Media at the University of Tripoli and a free education coordinator at the Faculty of Arts & Media (Tripoli University), and a Media Lab coordinator at the Faculty of Arts and Media (Tripoli University). He also served as a consultant with the Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR). Dr Gulam has been a Libyan journalist for several Libyan Newspapers and Magazines (1998 to 2003), supervising many media workshops and sessions in various Libyan cities from 2012 to 2017. He also became the Head of the Media Department at the University of Tripoli from 2012 to mid-2013. He also became Chairman of Media Training Center and the information office of the Libyan Press Authority 2012. He also served as Chairman of Libyan Media Institute (LMI) 2013-2015).
