We want to bring to your attention that Mr. Brian Cajetan Joaquim Baptista, who was previously appointed as the Special Technical Advisor to the Executive Director of CAFOR (the Coalition on Media and Education for Development Africa Forum) and Regional Representative and Head of the Office for Europe, is no longer associated with our organization in any capacity, with immediate effect.

Mr. Baptista is no longer employed by CAFOR and, therefore, cannot act as a representative of our organization for any business transaction. Any institution, organ, or individual who chooses to engage in any form of business or interaction with Mr. Baptista, believing they are doing so under the auspices of CAFOR, does so at their own risk and discretion.

We kindly request all concerned parties to be aware of this update and refrain from assuming or implying any association between CAFOR and Mr. Baptista in any official or unofficial capacity. CAFOR disclaims any and all liability arising from any business dealings, agreements, contracts, or transactions conducted by or with Mr. Baptista subsequent to his departure from our organization.

Please consider this announcement as a formal notice of the aforementioned change, and be advised that CAFOR will not bear any responsibility for the actions or consequences resulting from any business engagements with Mr. Baptista.
