As you may recall, the goal of CESA 16-25 Cluster is to bring all actors of Education across the continent together to collectively implement the Pan African education agenda through the “Thematic Cluster Approach” that groups various stakeholders under specific sub-sectors of education to lead the realization of the strategic objectives of CESA 16-25.
In this regard, a virtual inter-cluster revitalisation meeting was held in 2020 to review how the clusters are responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and reflect on the present practices and experiences in coordination of the Clusters towards the implementation of
CESA based on DOTSS and provide an avenue for stock taking of the clusters work, based on the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
To continue to ensure the effective operationalisation of the clusters, the first coordination meeting is scheduled to hold virtually on Thursday 29th April, 2021, with the organisations and Member States leading the 12 launched CESA Thematic Clusters.
The purpose of the meeting is to set the tone for the year, and to collectively create a common vision around DOTSS, and its advocacy; as well as to review how the clusters are responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and lesson learnt since the last meeting held in 2020.
