It is with great pleasure that we share with you the latest edition of the AU Echo 2024, one of the African Union’s most prestigious publications. This flagship magazine serves as a key platform for discussions on continental policies, initiatives, and transformative agendas shaping Africa’s future.
In this edition, we are proud to highlight CAFOR’s critical role in fostering educational transformation and capacity-building across Africa. CAFOR is prominently featured on page 107 of the English version under the section “CAFOR – A Key Partner of the AU in Efforts to Build Solid Partnerships, Ensure Responsibility and Secure Solutions”. This article underscores our commitment to strengthening partnerships, supporting youth skills development, and advocating for policy alignment with Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Additionally, the AU’s 2024 Theme – “The Year of Education: Educate an African Fit for the 21st Century” – is extensively covered in this edition. This section explores efforts to enhance education systems, integrate digital learning solutions, and equip Africa’s youth with the necessary skills to thrive in a dynamic global environment. The Year of Education theme is featured on page 108, with CAFOR’s contribution highlighted in advancing technical and vocational education, science and technology, and innovative learning approaches.
Moreover, the Executive Director’s article was published on page 104 entitled, “Leadership, Education, and Training as We Move Towards the Year of Education in Africa,”.
