A very constructive meeting with the safelight initiative personnel at the African Union commission on Friday, September23,2022

Amb. Sileshi Umer stated that,

“It was an insightful afternoon at African Union headquarters and meet the CAFOR executive director Dr. Lawalley Cole at his office. We have navigated the potential area of collaboration between CAFOR, Safe Light, and Sport for Change. Dr. Cole has conviction to bring the potential of the youth to the board to meet the Agenda 2063 of the African Union and CAFOR’s strategic plans. Mr. Ahadu Gebru, Executive director for Sport for Change also appreciated what CAFOR is doing and activities that advocate peace and development should be done in a togetherness spirit.  We are so thankful for the hospitality and the constructive ideas that we got for the upcoming partnership between these bodies.”
